We all know that the world of romance writing is incredibly competitive. It's hard for readers to find a good book, and for authors to find an audience that loves their style of writing. It can be hard to find copy editing, book cover designers, and publicity.

Here at Love Romance, we want to help. We review all romance stories, regardless of length. We also do write ups of associated businesses and events.

So if you are running, or know of, workshops, conventions or even writer support groups,we want to hear from you.

Please include your full name, your website (if you have one), what you are interested in, and a short description of what it is you would like us to review (eg. Pages numbers, event dates, if the review needs to be put up urgently).

If requesting a review of a novel or short story, you are committing to sending one of our authors a free copy of your release (e-book is encouraged as speed of receipt is increased). All books will be given to experienced Love Romance writers.

We encourage you to share the review on Facebook, Twitter and any other social media you partake in, and to link to it from your website. This results in higher view numbers, and higher purchase rates for you, however it is not mandatory.

If you would like a review of a service that you offer, for example, cover design, or editing, there are two ways for us to proceed. The first way is for us to have a look at previous examples of your work and write a general review in exchange for you sharing our review on social media and a link on your website. The other option would be for you to offer your service to one of our experienced writers for free.

If you are requesting a write up of an event, there are, again, two ways for us to proceed. We are happy to write up the event before it takes place, but if this is what you would prefer, we require you to share the write up amongst your network and link to it from your website.

If you would like us to write up the event after it occurs, or on the first day of a multi day event, then we require a free pass for the writer to the event. If it is a monthly event, for example, this often works best. If it is an annual event, you are welcome to ask for both.

The last thing that you should know before you contact us is that we are not a publicity service. All reviews will be honest. If we love it, we'll say so. If we think all our readers will love it too we'll say so. If we find typos, we'll say so. If you fix them, we'll update our review.

Reviews (unless there are exceptional circumstances) will be published within seven days. To get an idea of what you can expect, check out some previously published event and book reviews.
