If you answered yes to these questions then Love Romance is right or you. We take submissions from those just starting out, as well as from experienced authors.

So how does it work? The first thing you need to do is register as a writer here.

Then have a read of our FAQ page.

There are five main types of writing that we accept on Love Romance:

1. Original Fiction

Original fiction is exactly what is sounds like: Romantic fiction that you write. These can be short stories, or novel length pieces.

If you are writing a novel, it can be uploaded chapter by chapter as you finish each chapter. This gives you encouragement in the form of readers, comments and editing. If you have already written a novel, you can upload it altogether (one chapter per post).

At the end of the novel you can link to the next in the series, or to others stories you have written. You are also welcome to link to your social media accounts and personal website in the Author Bio section.

Copyright ownership information is on our FAQ page, but the short version is that you can still sell print and e-books.

2. Questions

Questions are usually only two or three sentences long, and pose a question that you'd like answered. Other contributors answer them. Questions can be inspired by research for your story, or general curiosity about other readers and writers.

3. Reviews

Reviews of romance novels, short stories or even films are all welcome. Here at Romance Love we pride ourselves on honest reviews. Not overly critical, or constantly gushing, but a short blurb for the novel and then set the expectations up for the new reader. Have a look at the Review Template to get a more detailed idea of what's expected.

If you are interested in reviews we also receive free e-books and sometimes print copies of new novels to review. These are allocated to writers on a first come first served basis. To be eligible to receive one of these books you must have contributed 3 previous posts to Love Romance (not questions) and be able to commit to getting the review up for editing within seven days of your receipt of the book.

4. Real Life Romance

Real life romance is a space for us to chat about the romance in our real lives, both individually and as a society. Do you feel strongly about romance writing and feminism? Or about femininity in female characters? Got a top ten list of how to rekindle romance in your relationship, or even a squeal of joy about how the man in your life proposed, we want to hear it here.

5. In The Industry

The Industry is all about sharing your knowledge and experience. Tips on how to write good romance. Tips on publishing and self-publishing. Reviews of various cover designers or editing services. If you've been through it and felt it was a learning experience, chances are that someone else can learn from it too.

All five types have the same CPM (payment per thousand views) of $10. However, when questions are submitted the CPM payments are split between the author of the question and the first few answer authors.

Hope to be reading your submissions shortly!
